Alabastro
Limestone, fragile and difficult to handle: the alabaster colour recalls the pale skin of the noble women of the past, but also the colour of clay, the most common sediment of the Cartizze area. For numerous artists, alabaster represents refinement as Cartizze is the most refined expression of Valdobbiadene DOCG.

Alabastro
Varietal: Glera
Vinification and ageing: settling of the must with selected yeasts; resting on the fine lees for at least 3 months
Sugar content: 12 g/l
Tasting profile: floral fragrance and pleasantly savory, fresh taste
TERRITORY
CARTIZZE: THE GOLDEN PENTAGON
Alabastro is produced from grapes harvested in the Cartizze area, where we find soils with a high content of yellowish limestone. The roots are deep but limited by the compact limestone rock, which allows for average water availability. Here, wines are created that exhibit aromas of white flowers, peach, pear, and almond, with great aromatic and organoleptic richness, and a slightly bitter aftertaste.
